LATEST NEWS

Special General Meeting 9am Thursday 22 May 2008, Town of Vincent, cnr  Vincent & Loftus Streets Leederville. Parking is available at the Loftus Community Centre in Loftus Street. Prior to the launch at 10am (see below) we will be holding a meeting to vote on proposed changes to the objects of our Constitution. ConnectGroups (prev. WISH) has undergone some changes in its operation and aims and we would now like these changes to be reflected in our constitution. In addition, the Australian Tax Office has made some changes to legislation in this time which now opens a window for ConnectGroups to receive deductible gift recipient status. It has been decided that the rebrand of our organization is the perfect time to instigate these changes.

If you would like a copy of the proposed changes prior to the meeting please contact the office. The launch will be held immediately following this meeting. If you would like to attend either event please RSVP to Monica on Tel: 9228 4488 9am – 4pm Monday to Thursday or email info@connectgroups.org.au by Monday 19 May 2008.

Invitation to Stage 2 of Project Makeover – The Final Reveal!
As mentioned last month we are now at the final stage of our Re-brand and the scene is set for the final reveal. You are invited to participate in this historic event as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations. Our patron Graham Mabury OAM will be our MC for the proceedings. Parking is available at the Loftus Community Centre in Loftus Street.

We look forward to celebrating this achievement with you and joining us for a delicious morning tea following the event. If you would like to attend please RSVP to Monica on Tel: 9228 4488 9am – 4pm Monday to Thursday or email info@connectgroups.org.au by Monday 19 May 2008.
